Position Description: Division Senior IT Analyst

General Summary

Provides direct support to divisional users of the ABS Enterprise network and divisional IT infrastructure; provides project management support to divisional country/district/remote offices。 Responsible for ensuring successful deployment and implementation of Information Technology within assigned ABS Division in accordance with established corporate policies, procedures and guidelines。

Actively engages Division IMS Manager and Corporate IMS Management in order to:

· Identify current and future IT implementation issues

· Determine user and business needs affecting IT integration and effectiveness, facilitating their timely and fitting resolution

· Contribute to an ABS IT Strategy aligned with business goals and objectives that leverage innovation to define new opportunities for success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (PDR)

1. Responds to, evaluates and solves a variety of end-user hardware, network and software problems.

2. Trains end-users on a one-to-one basis about the proper use of software and hardware as necessary.

3。 Drafts written user instructions/manuals for PC hardware and software。

4. Provides initial support to local area end users in multiple service locations.

5。 An understanding of and respect for the need to maintain standards across the entire ABS Enterprise Network。 This means that this individual must constantly keep Houston IMS personnel and Division IT Manager aware of end-user and system operation needs。

6。 Assists with implementation of ABS internal and external application sets (O2K, O2E and SafeNet for Clients and Surveyors, etc。)。 Lends assistance as needed to maintain above mentioned application sets。

7. Leads and manage the IT projects assigned by Division IT manager.

8. Act as a guide through discovery, engagement, and communication in order to surface project needs, determine project scope and provide recommendations for solutions.

9. Work with the Division IT Manger to coordinate activities across teams and organizations, including contracted vendors.

10. Prepare high level summaries and detailed technical reports for executives and corporate IMS.

11. Identify and manage cross-project dependencies and provide insight to the risks, issues, requirements, designs and solutions. Coordinate and prioritize resources across projects, managing links between the projects and the overall costs and risks of the program utilizing project management tools and processes.

12. Works as an integral part of management team to identify and set information technology priorities and projects, based on projected return on investment, resources, timing and technologies.

13. Participates in meetings with other IMS functional groups and customers.

14。 Participates on project teams made up of various IMS functional specialties and customers。

15. Coordinates and oversees the installation of local area networks at multiple service locations.

16. Maintains information technology equipment inventory and coordinate repairs and requisitions per approved budgets and management direction.

17. Communicates status of projects, personnel, customer concerns, etc. to Division IT Manager

18. Prepares and evaluates bid packages for different combinations of computer services including the supply of hardware, software, and support services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)

1. Bachelor’s degree or recognized equivalent, preferable in computer science or a related field, from an accredited university or equivalent industry experience. Advanced degree or comparable on-the-job experience is also required.

2. Experience managing the successful implementation of major technological shifts, the supervision of a technical staff and the strategic planning for technology.

3. At least 3 years of independent team leading experience in a project management/operation role in IT industry. Experience in implementation of infrastructure development is preferred.

4。 Good English language skills, including speaking and writing abilities, be able to communicate with users without difficulties。

5. Good communication skills, strong project management, time management.

6. Good understanding of and experience with IT project management (Cabling; CCTV; Environmental control; IT room management; video conferencing; NAS deployment)

7. Good understanding of and experience with Cisco network equipment (Routers; Pix; VPN; vLAN on switch; Cisco voice gateway and IP Phone; Cisco WiFi controller and etc.)

8. Good understanding of Microsoft Server ; AD management; SCCM; Exchange server and outlook

9. Experience with McAfee endpoint products and Lotus Notes Domino will be a plus

10. Willingness and flexibility to work non-standard hours (e.g., before 7 a.m. and after 6 p.m. weekdays and on weekend days).

11。 Needs to be familiar with the ABS Quality & Environmental Management System

Working Conditions

Work will normally be performed in an air-conditioned office environment and will be non-manual in nature most of the time. Occasionally may have to lift between 5-15 pounds. Travel, within and outside of the USA, will be required.

Reporting Responsibility

Reports directly to the Division IT Manager。
